As regards the input, it should be noted that the essence of the raw material and consumable is of foreign origin, imported mainly European Convention countries. Raw material locally manufactured equivalent to the qualitative plan with the imported product but far from satisfying the Algerian market.

DEVELOPMENT PROSPECTS
In the current situation, as long as there is a keen demand in packing, I.E.C.O., practically does not encounter a difficulty for the flow of its products.

However, one should not omit that with the liberalization of the economic activity and commercial, the signature by Algeria of the agreement of association with the European Union, for the installation of the free trade area and its future accession with the world organization of the trade, the research of the markets becomes a condition of survival for I.E.C.O.

In this context, I.E.C.O., starts to improve its methods of approaches of the market and to develop new strategies of development of customer loyalty.

It is certain that export does not constitute, at least for the moment, a priority in the strategy of development of IECO.

In any event, even if the company does not test today, the need to penetrate the external markets, it does not remain about it less than the internationalization of its activity should not be lost sight of the fact.

It remains an objective to be reached in its policy of strategic development for the essential reasons and which are as follows:

Firstly: with the phenomena of universalization and globalisation, the economic and commercial borders tend to grow blurred.
In other words, firm I.E.C.O, is selected from now on to evolve/move in an increasingly open and competing environment and that it cannot count, to succeed, that on the competitive capacity of its products and its commercial performances.

Secondly: by côtoyant foreign companies, I.E.C.O., will be inevitably brought continuously to level itself on the managerial plans, human, technological and commercial.

Thirdly: while being addressed to markets and consuming foreign, I.E.C.O., acquires a priceless experiment as regards international management.

Fourthly: for the market of proximity to knowing country maghrébins, the need is considerable and Algeria has an advantage of proximity. However, the company regards the countries as customers with priority development after the national market in the long run.

In conclusion, how the company can it form part of the international competition if it is not the levelling of its system of production and the environment of the businesses?

Tariff protections being called to reduce itself and even to disappear, the levelling consequently constitutes the average privileged person to develop assets of competitiveness.

This is why, answering the rules of eligibility of the programme of levelling, controlled by the I.E.C.O., Minister of Industry, after having undergone the DSG (Total Strategic Diagnosis) and the PMN (Plane of Levelling), by an office of expertise, obtained the agreement and the validation by the National Committee before engaging in the concrete realization of the program which is on a level of appreciable advance.
